What happens during the workshops at Camping?
Photographers and videographers Christophe Berlet and Valentine Perrin Morali took part in Mathilde Monnier's workshop, who was invited to Lyon last June to celebrate Camping's 10th anniversary. Echoing the choreographer's work, this workshop explored the relationship between dance and literary text: How can these two mediums remain active without favoring one form over the other? Can bodies perform these two activities at the same time, on an equal footing?
Through the film Camping, carte blanche for this 10th issue of CN D Magazine, the videographers-campers immerse us in their world, capturing the evolution of five days of exchanges, sharing, and practice.
